Investors in Families
Welcome to Investors in Families. If you would like further information about Investors in Famililes, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
We are currently developing Investors in Families across the whole of Wales (http://www.uwtsd.ac.uk/wcee/investors-in-families/ ). We have just awarded the IIF quality mark to Parc Prison (http://www.hmpparc.co.uk/visiting_faf.asp ) in Bridgend and are offering IIF to other settings in the Secure Estate.
Investors in Families is the national accreditation scheme established to recognise those schools and other settings that work with families to achieve the five outcomes of Every Child Matters.
A pilot project to adapt IiF for use in Further Education is currently being developed in partnership with a major FE college.

Aims of Investors in Families
To value and support the role that families play in the life of the child
To support families in developing their children’s achievement and self-esteem
To help families participate in raising their children’s achievement and self-esteem
To promote social inclusion and a sense of well-being through positive participation in family life
We are also adapting the quality mark for major sports clubs that have significant outreach and community programmes.
Thank you for visiting the IIF web-site.
It is with considerable regret that the Directors have decided to bring the scheme in England to an end as it is no longer viable. A copy of the letter sent to all co-ordinators, which sets out the reasons for the decision, can be viewed HERE
If you have any further questions about IIF, please email email@example.com

We would like to thank you for your support and interest in IIF, which has played an important role in embedding work with families in the work of many schools and other settings.
This is no longer a manual on how to do scientific work. It is more than that! It is a text to be leafed with freedom, a production to be handled with lightness, a writing that is intended playful. This book talks about writing a scientific work as an activity that can be rewarding, not suffering; which can be an opportunity, not a commitment, a creation, not a requirement, a choice, not an obligation. And, therefore, the divan: this place where, in Psychoanalysis, we lay our conscience, our censures, our impediments; where we allow ourselves to travel within ourselves and discover there why something hinders us, holds us, makes us difficult to write. From this discovery, we gain the freedom to enter this fascinating adventure that can be written production.
